ParcelPlanet uses AI-powered tools both to help our team run the business efficiently and to support customer service.
Behind the scenes, we use an AI-assisted operations platform, provided by ARRX Ltd and powered by Anthropic’s AI, to help manage our internal processes, tasks, and reporting. This platform works with our own business records; your personal shipment details continue to be held and governed separately in our warehouse system. Where this platform would result in a message being sent to someone outside ParcelPlanet, a member of our team reviews and approves it first, and all AI-assisted activity is logged.
When you interact with our customer service AI assistant, provided by Attune (also part of ARRX Ltd) and powered by OpenAI’s technology, we may process information you include in your message, such as contact details, order references, and the details of your query. You’ll always be told at the start of the conversation that you’re speaking with an AI assistant. In most cases, a member of our team reviews the AI’s draft response before it’s sent. For certain routine, low-risk enquiries, such as order status updates, a response may be sent automatically once strict confidence and accuracy thresholds are met. You can ask to speak with a member of our team at any time.
None of our AI providers use your data to train their models, and each operates under a formal data processing agreement with us.
